Interview with Dimitar Dimitrov, STENIK GROUP Ltd.

Stenic Group is a web design company, which offers to develop and maintain corporate web sites, as well as to develop web based software. The company has been working successfully with more than 300 customers from Bulgaria and abroad. It is Stenic Group that created GO AHEAD LTD’s web site. Here is an extract of our interview with Mr. Dimitrov, Sales Manager and an Associate at Stenic Group.

-         Mr. Dimitrov, can you tell us what was the most noticeable thing which you encountered during your work on the GO AHEAD project?

-         The most noticeable thing has been the meeting point of two different viewpoints – yours and ours, as well as the positive outcome, if you know what I mean…

-         Your company could well be called a “young company” if we consider the employees’ average age. How do you build and maintain the necessary group work when the team itself is so energetic?

-         Most of the people working in the area of web design have started from a very tender age and as a result our team exemplifies a number of true web veterans. Apart from that, we believe that a functioning team could be built only through mutual compromise and understanding. The foreign companies’ model is not our cup of tea. From its very creation the company’s success has been a result of team unity and agreement and we continue to follow this pattern.

 -         You conducted a team-building seminar in Plovdiv last July. Has this form of interaction attained its objectives and what exactly was its impact on the team work?

-         Every team building, which had been enjoyed by the participants, can only have a positive impact on the team. This seminar in particular, the one you are asking me for, seems to have helped our competition get to know us better and remember us.

 -         Stenic Group is quite active not only within the internet domain but also in reality – you participated in Web Expo – Plovdiv, you are a member of the Bulgarian Web Association, you take part in seminars, workshops etc. Which activities do you perform on your own and which ones would you rather assign to an outer company?

-         As a matter of fact, there are so many events scheduled that I doubt we would need an outer consultant for anything in the near future.
